Skyline Plaza in Frankfurt am Main is continuing its strategic renewal course and expanding its existing fashion offering. Bershka, a well-known brand from the Inditex Group, will be a new tenant, occupying an area of almost 1,000 square metres within the shopping centre. The store opening is planned for this year.
This development follows a series of recent new openings and expansions, which include brands such as New Yorker, Mango, COOOL!, and Pandora. Bershka's arrival represents a further component of the current centre transformation, which aims to diversify and modernise the offering for visitors.
Market positioning
Bershka is known as an internationally established fashion brand that particularly appeals to a young, trend-conscious clientele. The brand is characterised by incorporating current fashion, lifestyle, and cultural trends, which are made accessible to a fashion-interested target group. Olaf Kindt, Centre Manager of Skyline Plaza Frankfurt, commented on the new establishment, highlighting Bershka's excellent addition to the fashion portfolio. He emphasised that with its urban and international concept, the brand will provide new impetus for the centre's visitors.
With Bershka, Skyline Plaza will house the second Inditex Group brand in the centre, after Pull&Bear. Both brands are exclusively represented in the Rhine-Main region at Skyline Plaza. This strategic positioning underscores the importance of the location in Frankfurt's Europaviertel.
Progress of modernisation measures
Parallel to the new lettings, the comprehensive modernisation of the centre is progressing. A first modernised mall area will be completed shortly. This area will be characterised by a more open, brighter, and contemporary design, intended to generate more transparency and quality of stay. Adapting the architecture to the dynamic environment of the Europaviertel is a central element in this. The complete finalisation of the modernisation work remains scheduled for autumn 2027.
