Skyrock Capital has received $68 million in construction loan financing for the development of a luxurious waterfront multi-family project in Bayonne, New Jersey. The financing was provided by Bravo Property Trust for Skyrock's planned "Bayonne Luxury Waterwalk" 180-unit apartment project. Elan Goldberg, Co-Head of Lending at Bravo, arranged the financing.
Aaron Krawitz, CEO of Bravo Property Trust, commented in a statement. He indicated that Bayonne's waterfront attracts serious, long-term investment, and they were proud to be able to provide this developer with the necessary security to realise their endeavour.
Project Development Details
Skyrock Capital, under the legal entity Bayonne Luxury Waterwalk, acquired the 2.3-hectare waterfront plot along Newark Bay at 219 West Fifth Street back in 2019 for $4.55 million. This was previously reported by Jersey Digs. The planned building will comprise six storeys, with two storeys designated for parking. The property will offer comprehensive amenities, including a swimming pool and a fitness centre, according to reports from Jersey Digs.
The project represents a significant investment in the region's infrastructure and housing. It underscores Bayonne's appeal for high-quality residential developments, particularly in waterfront locations, which are equally in demand among investors and future residents. The realisation of such projects contributes significantly to urban regeneration and creates modern living spaces with a high standard of comfort.
Market Dynamics in New Jersey
The continued investment in New Jersey's multi-family sector reflects ongoing confidence in the state's economy and property market. Demand for modern and well-appointed housing, especially in geographically favourable locations with good connectivity, remains stable. Projects like the Bayonne Luxury Waterwalk help to meet this demand and offer attractive options for potential tenants who have high expectations regarding quality of life and comfort.
