Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm has announced a new appointment at the helm of its management. From 1st July 2026, Carsten Rudolph will be responsible for the operational management of the establishment as General Manager. This personnel decision underscores the hotel's strategic alignment within the Berlin real estate market.
Mr Rudolph possesses proven expertise in the hotel industry, spanning over 35 years. His professional career is closely linked to the city of Berlin, where he began his training as a hotel specialist at the first art’otel on Joachimstaler Straße. There, he progressed through various positions, from receptionist to Front Office Manager and then Assistant Manager.
Extensive Experience and Local Roots
Mr Rudolph's experience also includes pre-opening phases for several hotels in Berlin and Görlitz. Subsequently, he held hotel manager positions in Brandenburg, Mahlow, and Hanover before returning to the art’otel Berlin Ku’damm. Since 2009, he worked at Park Plaza Prenzlauer Berg and since 2015 as Hotel Manager at Park Plaza Berlin. His many years of service and connection to the capital qualify him for the new role. In this position, Mr Rudolph will continue to hold his post as Hotel Manager at Park Plaza Berlin, which highlights the strategic importance of his role within the Arena Hospitality Group.
The Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm, conceived as the brand's first property in Berlin, is characterised by its combination of individual design and modern amenities. Following extensive refurbishment, the hotel offers 133 individually designed rooms. The offering is complemented by a bar called RED 28 and a garden area. Shortly after its opening, the hotel was recognised by TimeOut as one of Berlin's leading hotels for the year 2025.
Carsten Rudolph expressed motivation regarding his new assignment. He stated his eagerness to develop the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm together with the team and to inspire guests for the hotel and the Berlin location. This statement reflects the objective of further establishing the hotel as an attraction for international visitors and solidifying its position in the Berlin hotel market.
