Deutsche Reihenhaus AG is gaining a foothold in Bad Rappenau, Baden-Württemberg, for the first time. On a site of around 5,700 square metres on Gundelsheimer Strasse in the district of Heinsheim, the Cologne-based developer is planning the new 'Neckarblick' residential park. The plan is to construct a total of 18 homes of the company's established '145 m² Familienglück' house type.
The urban design layout envisages that each terrace row consists of three units. This configuration results in an above-average proportion of end-of-terrace houses compared to mid-terrace houses. In this context, Carsten Rutz, Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Reihenhaus AG, emphasises that the new neighbourhood creates affordable housing for prospective buyers seeking a home with a garden. The quiet, nature-oriented surroundings of the new development area offer families in particular a time-saving and cost-effective alternative to building a bespoke home.
Sustainable energy concept and subsidy options
The technical concept of the new buildings relies on contemporary standards in energy efficiency. The houses will be realised as eligible climate-friendly new builds (Klimafreundlicher Neubau). For energy supply, the developer combines roof-mounted photovoltaic systems with a central heat pump, which is housed in a shared technical centre and supplies the entire estate.
Sales for the units have already commenced. Starting prices for the '145 m² Familienglück' model begin at 449,990 euros including the plot share, with the purchase being commission-free for buyers. Groundbreaking on the site in Heinsheim is scheduled for the second half of 2027. The first completions and handovers to owners are scheduled to take place in the second half of 2028.
