Deutsche Reihenhaus AG, a company from Cologne, is developing a new residential quarter in Vöhringen. The project is named 'Kranichstraße' and involves the construction of twelve terraced houses. These will be built on a plot of approximately 2,300 square metres. The planned buildings correspond to the '145 m² Familienglück' house type and will be constructed using a serial building method.
The area is connected to an established residential district. It offers convenient access to infrastructure with short distances to shopping facilities, nurseries and schools. The location of the new quarter on the green outskirts of the town, surrounded by detached family homes and terraced houses, is specifically aimed at families.
Energy concept and infrastructure
A central aspect of the project development is the resource-saving energy concept. This integrates photovoltaic systems on the roofs of the individual terraced houses. The energy supply for the entire quarter is also provided by a brine-to-water heat pump, which is housed in a communal technical centre. This combination ensures an ecologically and economically sound operation. Furthermore, the car parking spaces are prepared for the future use of electromobility. These measures are designed for efficient and future-oriented operation of the entire quarter.
Sales for the terraced houses have already begun. The '145 m² Familienglück' model is offered at a starting price of 429,990 EUR, which includes the plot. Marketing is handled directly by Deutsche Reihenhaus AG without commission. Construction for the project is scheduled to commence in early 2027. CEO Carsten Rutz emphasises that Vöhringen is experiencing significant immigration and is within attractive commuting distance to Ulm. This creates the basis for affordable owner-occupied homes tailored to the needs of families.
The company has experience in the region; it has already realised projects in neighbouring municipalities such as Bellenberg and Illertissen.
