In Vienna-Strebersdorf, the company Glorit has begun the realisation of a new residential project. A total of 16 houses, each on its own plot of land, are being built at Mayerweckstraße 19-25. The venture combines modern architecture and high-quality fittings with private open spaces in an established residential area at the foot of Bisamberg.
The planned owner-occupied homes in 1210 Vienna will comprise four to five rooms and offer net living areas ranging from 112 to 147 square metres. Plot sizes vary between 224 and 370 square metres, with each unit assigned its own garden and terrace, guaranteeing private open space. A well-conceived floor plan, coupled with the use of high-quality materials and brand products, is intended to ensure contemporary living comfort. Each house also features a full basement, providing additional usable space for various requirements such as home office, fitness activities, hobbies, or storage purposes.
Patrick Kloihofer, Managing Director of Glorit, explained that the interplay of architecture, execution, plot, open space, and location is crucial when building a home. With the project on Mayerweckstraße, they are creating houses that unite these aspects, thus ensuring long-term living quality.
Location quality and infrastructure in Strebersdorf
The Strebersdorf location is characterised by a combination of close-to-nature living with family-friendliness and good accessibility. Its proximity to Bisamberg and the Marchfeldkanal enables various outdoor leisure activities, such as walks and cycling tours. The area is also shaped by the wine-growing region and traditional 'Heurigen' (wine taverns). Educational institutions are quickly accessible; for example, the De La Salle Education Campus is approximately a five-minute walk away.
Transport links can be described as good. Vienna Strebersdorf train station offers a direct connection to the city centre, while the A22 motorway is also quickly reachable. Glorit is currently present in Strebersdorf with two projects. In addition to the houses on Mayerweckstraße, the company is also realising a residential development at Langenzersdorfer Straße 66, where 20 flats are being built. Managing Director Kloihofer emphasised that these projects illustrate what distinguishes Strebersdorf as a residential location: a quiet, green environment combined with good connections to the city, thereby creating a diverse offering for various housing needs.
Prices for the houses start at EUR 811,900. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of 2027.
