Domicil Real Estate AG has successfully completed a capital increase totalling EUR 10 million. This expands the company's financial scope for the acquisition of further residential property portfolios for privatisation. Through these measures, Domicil intends to expand its core business and make residential properties accessible to a wider target group as an element of private retirement provision.

A significant part of the capital increase was borne by a company of the Rock Capital Group, which subscribed to 70 percent of the new capital. The remaining 30 percent was taken up by existing shareholders, including Baywobau and Roland Berger Industries. The group of other shareholders also includes the private bank Donner & Reuschel AG, Versicherungskammer, and Die Bayerische.

Klaus Schmitt, CEO of Domicil Real Estate AG, commented on the strengthening of the financial base and the expansion of operational scope for new acquisitions. He emphasised that the current market offers attractive opportunities for the acquisition of residential portfolios, which can then be prepared for individual sale to private capital investors. Schmitt highlighted the company's market position and the general conditions for further growth, describing the business model – which ensures security through ongoing rental income and attractive returns through privatisation profits – as highly valued by shareholders.

Strategic Partnership and Continuity in Management

Christian Lealahabumrung, Founder and Managing Partner of Rock Capital Group, underlined that Domicil has established itself as a blue-chip residential investor and strategically and entrepreneurially complements Rock Capital Group's investment portfolio. He sees significant synergy potentials arising from Rock Capital Group's extensive real estate portfolio, as well as Domicil's business model and sales structures. Lealahabumrung expressed delight about this new chapter and the active joint further development of Domicil.

In addition to the capital increase and the expansion of the shareholder base, Domicil is focusing on continuity in corporate management. Klaus Schmitt's mandate as CEO was extended ahead of schedule until 31 December 2027. This means that the three-member executive board, consisting of Klaus Schmitt, Daniel Preis, and David Hofmann, will continue its work with an unchanged line-up. Klaus Schmitt, who has been a member of the executive board since August 2023 and was previously Chairman of the Supervisory Board, will in future assume the roles of Spokesman of the Executive Board, COO, and CFO. Daniel Preis will continue to be responsible for individual residential sales as CSO, and David Hofmann will be responsible for further corporate development as CDO.

Prof. Dr. Georg Erdmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Domicil Real Estate AG, confirmed the effectiveness of the existing executive team. The extension of Klaus Schmitt's mandate ensures leadership continuity. At the same time, the capital increase provides the necessary financial scope to continue the company's established growth trajectory.
