The private bank DONNER & REUSCHEL has expanded its range of real estate services to include real estate asset management. This new offering enables the bank to support its clients immediately in the strategic and operational management of their real estate portfolios. This development addresses clients' desire to more effectively utilise and increase the potential of their properties through active management.
As part of its real estate asset management services, DONNER & REUSCHEL assumes tasks traditionally within the owner's responsibility. These include managing the value and further development as well as the administration of individual properties. The service spectrum ranges from market and location analysis to letting management and the control of external service providers. DONNER & REUSCHEL thus complements its comprehensive real estate transaction support with professional management of existing properties.
To establish this new business segment, the bank is leveraging the expertise of its parent company SIGNAL IDUNA and the group's own real estate manager SICORE Real Assets. DONNER & REUSCHEL now supports its clients throughout the entire investment cycle of a property, from joint strategy development to active portfolio management. The service is aimed at high-net-worth private clients, entrepreneurs, family offices, foundations, semi-institutional and institutional investors, as well as executors of wills.

Horst Schmidt, Spokesman of the Board of DONNER & REUSCHEL AG, emphasised that real estate represents a central asset class for clients. Real estate asset management creates a consistent link between transaction and portfolio administration, thereby positioning the private bank as a reliable partner for its clients' entire assets. Julian Rautenberg, General Agent of DONNER & REUSCHEL AG, added that real estate, alongside securities and entrepreneurial holdings, forms one of the main pillars of clients' assets. The expanded offering develops long-standing real estate expertise into a comprehensive service.
Strategic Expansion of Real Estate Services
The addition of real estate asset management is part of DONNER & REUSCHEL's strategic direction in the real estate sector. Through its specialised subsidiary DONNER & REUSCHEL Finanz-Service GmbH (DRFS), the private bank already offers brokerage and transaction support. Real estate asset management is now additionally provided by the bank itself, as part of a holistic client service. DRFS acts as a real estate agent and supports transactions nationwide across all asset classes, from condominiums to commercial properties. This leverages both the bank's client network and a Germany-wide investor network. In addition, DRFS provides independent advice on real estate insurance as an insurance broker.
Stefan Schneider, Head of Real Estate Management at DONNER & REUSCHEL, highlighted that access to attractive properties off the open market, the complexity of acquisition and structuring, and the necessity of active management have primarily been reserved for institutional investors until now. With its real estate asset management, DONNER & REUSCHEL is now extending this institutional approach to its clients' private real estate assets, enabling them to benefit from similarly professional management.
