EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM) is expanding its institutional sales capabilities. With effect from 1 August 2026, three new specialists will join the team. This personnel expansion aims to further accelerate the growth of Evangelische Bank's asset manager in the institutional business segment.
The 'Institutional Investors' department will be complemented by Dennis Westwood, who takes on the position of Head of Sales, Christian Storck as his deputy, and David Laumen as Senior Sales Manager. Thomas Albrecht will continue to be responsible for the support of church investors and foundations.
Focus on sustainable real asset investments
The team expansion is strategically aimed at intensifying specific investment areas. Alongside offering liquid investment strategies and asset management solutions, a significant focus lies on the real assets business. Here, the infrastructure and renewable energy segments, as well as other sustainable real asset investments, are to be expanded, signalling a clear positioning in the area of long-term and sustainable capital investments.
Dr. Bernhard Graeber, Managing Director of EB-SIM, commented on this development by emphasising that in times of increased uncertainty, long-term sustainability and transformation issues must not be neglected. He pointed out that the associated investment requirements persist. Graeber further explained that the expansion of the institutional sales team lays the foundation for providing even more intensive support to clients in their investment decisions and for further developing sustainable investment solutions across all asset classes.
Strengthening client relationships
The increase in personnel underscores EB-SIM's commitment to offering its institutional clients comprehensive expertise and tailored solutions. By expanding the sales team, the company's ability to adequately respond to the complex requirements and increasing demand for sustainable investment products and to ensure in-depth consulting is strengthened.
