Enovato GmbH, known for its 42watt brand, has moved its new headquarters to the Infanteriestraße Campus in Munich's Schwabing-West district. This move follows the conclusion of a lease agreement with Allgemeine SÜDBODEN Immobilien AG. The relocation positions Enovato in an environment valued for its combination of historical architecture and modern office units, particularly by players from innovation-driven economic sectors.
Under the 42watt brand, Enovato develops specialised solutions for the energy-efficient modernisation of existing buildings. The business model integrates independent energy consulting, technical planning, funding advice, and the subsequent implementation of renovation measures. This comprehensive service portfolio includes, among other things, the implementation of heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, battery storage, wallboxes, energy management systems, and air conditioning solutions. The new location is intended to facilitate further business development and interdisciplinary collaboration across departments.
Strategic Direction and Choice of Location
Bettina Krause, Head of Lettings at Allgemeine SÜDBODEN, commented on the company's settlement. She highlighted that Enovato, with its 42watt brand, represents an innovative company whose business model complements the orientation of the Infanteriestraße Campus. She emphasised the relevance of linking energy consulting, digitalisation, and practical implementation, which makes 42watt a valuable new addition.
Marcus Dietmann, founder and Managing Director of Enovato GmbH, also spoke about the significance of the new headquarters. He explained that the premises on the Infanteriestraße Campus create the necessary conditions for the next phase of 42watt's development. The company intends to make the consulting, planning, and implementation of energy modernisation measures even more efficient in the future. The spaces offered on the campus provide ideal conditions for Enovato's interdisciplinary teams.
Vision of 42watt
The brand name 42watt is derived from a self-defined goal: to progressively reduce the energy consumption of buildings to 42 kilowatt-hours per square metre per year. This objective is directly related to Germany's climate protection targets and illustrates the company's long-term strategic direction in the field of real estate energy efficiency.
