VIB Vermögen AG has concluded several long-term lease agreements within its "GreenBiz Park" development project in Erding. These leases cover a total of 23,100 square metres and pertain to office spaces, a hotel, and an industrial hall. The most recent contract closures significantly contribute to the park's occupancy and confirm its attractive location.
Specifically, lease agreements were signed for 6,600 square metres of office space with an IT service provider, and for 5,500 square metres for hotel use. The last available hall area of 11,000 square metres was also successfully placed on the market. Construction for these three building units is planned for the first quarter of 2027. Completion of the industrial hall is expected by the end of 2027, while the two remaining buildings are scheduled to be finished in mid-2028.
Project Status and Future Development
Negotiations are currently underway for the last remaining vacant rental space in GreenBiz Park, which comprises 2,960 square metres. Upon successful conclusion, the entire area is projected to be fully completed by the end of 2028. According to Nicolai Greiner, Member of the Management Board of VIB Vermögen AG, the letting successes to date, which were not speculative but based on "Built to Suit" concepts, underscore the potential of the location, even considering the current economic conditions.
On the total 215,000 square metre site, GreenBiz Park is developing on five construction fields, alongside four existing industrial halls totalling 55,400 square metres which are already let, three additional buildings for office and hotel use. Marc Domnick, Head of Project Development at VIB Vermögen AG, highlighted the intensive letting activities, the marketing concept, and the cooperation with the city of Erding as key success factors. The first commercial property in GreenBiz Park was already completed in December 2024.
Sustainability and Infrastructure
VIB Vermögen AG aims for certification according to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) for all buildings in GreenBiz Park. This underscores the focus on ecological and economic standards in project development.
