The clothing company Veronica Beard has expanded its office headquarters at 26 West 17th Street, owned by Winter Organization in Midtown South, to approximately 60,000 square feet (approx. 5,574 square metres). This was confirmed by the landlord's broker, CBRE. The company, which has been located in the building since about 2013, signed the new agreement to renew its existing space in the building and to add an additional 15,000 square feet (approx. 1,393 square metres).
Veronica Beard will now occupy spaces on the second and third floors, as well as from the fifth to eighth floors of the office building, which is located two blocks west of Union Square. The exact rent and the duration of the lease expansion were not disclosed. According to data from Colliers, the average asking rent for office space in Midtown South was US$79.41 per square foot in the second quarter of 2026.
David Stockel and Taylor Walker of CBRE represented the owner in this transaction. Stockel stated in a comment that Veronica Beard's decision to renew and expand its footprint at 26 West 17th Street demonstrates confidence in both the location and the company's future growth prospects. He added that the transaction underscores the ongoing demand from established tenants for high-quality office environments that support collaboration, corporate culture, and business expansion.

Martin commented that Veronica Beard had expanded its business at 26 West 17th Street since the company first established an office there. He emphasised that the real estate strategy had been aligned with the company's business development, and as Veronica Beard continued to expand, a more sustainable long-term solution became necessary.
Veronica Beard is led by sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard. The brand operates retail stores in New York, including at 41 Grand Street in SoHo and 988 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.
The building at 26 West 17th Street, constructed in 1907, is a 12-storey office building. Its tenants include the wholesale marketplace Faire and the energy equipment and solutions provider Scale Microgrids.
