The Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos has commenced operations, welcoming its first guests for the summer season. This property development is situated in Kalo Livadi Bay. It is characterised by a modern architectural concept, access to a private beach, and gastronomic offerings with sea views. The opening marks the hotel chain's second presence in Greece, complementing its location in Athens.
Rainer Stampfer, President, Global Operations, Hotels and Resorts at Four Seasons, emphasised the establishment of a new dimension of luxury in the Mediterranean. The collaboration with AGC Equity Partners facilitated the creation of a property that pursues a symbiosis of architectural design and the natural environment. Particular emphasis is placed on integrating Greek hospitality and Four Seasons' services.
The hotel area, a development by Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis, spans six hectares on a cliff. The complex is designed in the style of a Mykonian village and offers panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Guests have access to facilities such as the private beach and two infinity pools. For evening activities, transfers to Chora (Mykonos Town) are available.
The hotel features 94 accommodation units, comprising rooms, suites, and villas. Some units are equipped with private plunge pools. The design incorporates local, Mykonian elements such as whitewashed facades and minimalist aesthetics to ensure a specific ambiance. Ryan Grande, General Manager of Four Seasons Mykonos, highlighted the combination of authentic island character and the opportunity for relaxation or exploration.
Four dining establishments are integrated into the resort. These offer diverse concepts and sea views. The Mediterranean grill restaurant "Álef" specialises in high-quality meat and seafood. "Corbu" focuses on Italian cuisine. At "The Beach", cocktails are served near the shore, while "Kafeneo" functions as an all-day option for coffee, Greek meze, and cocktails.
The hotel's wellness area is situated amidst gardens. It includes seven treatment rooms, an outdoor spa pavilion, and a thermal area with a sauna, steam room, and vitality pool. A 24-hour fitness centre with an outdoor spinning studio and a fitness pavilion for yoga or stretching complements the offerings. Personal trainers are available for individual guidance.
For cultural and active leisure, various excursions are organised, including visits to the ancient ruins on Delos and the island of Rhenia, helicopter tours over Mykonos, guided city walks in Mykonos Town, and horse-riding excursions to Fokos Beach. The resort also offers various venues for business and private events. Outdoor events in the restaurants can accommodate up to 200 people. A secluded chapel with sea views is available for wedding ceremonies.
