The Greenovis Group, a portfolio company of Aurelius Wachstumskapital, has expanded its nationwide market presence through the merger with the Otto Kittel Group. This acquisition includes both Otto Kittel GmbH and Kittel und Kruska, through which Greenovis continues its chosen growth trajectory and achieves a substantial reinforcement in Eastern Germany. The transaction was comprehensively advised legally by ARQIS.
Through the integration of the Otto Kittel Group, the Greenovis Group benefits from expanded capacities, complementary expertise, and a broadening of its service portfolio in key business areas. The Greenovis Group, headquartered in Langenfeld, unites a number of companies from the garden, landscape, and sports field construction sector under its umbrella. It is considered a leading group of companies in this segment in Germany.
Strengthening the Service Portfolio and Regional Presence
The Greenovis Group's service offering includes garden and landscape construction, sports field construction, playground construction, green roofs, green facades, as well as the care and maintenance of green spaces. The newly acquired Otto Kittel Group, with approximately 200 employees, is among the established providers in garden and landscape construction, as well as green and tree care. Otto Kittel, headquartered in Berlin-Marienfelde and with a branch in Zorbau near Halle/Leipzig, primarily serves public and commercial clients, particularly in the realisation of demanding large-scale projects in landscape gardening.
Kittel und Kruska, a company based in Berlin-Zehlendorf, which emerged from the Otto Kittel Group in 2008, specialises in green and tree care, as well as landscape construction. This company serves a customer portfolio that includes public, commercial, and private clients, thereby complementing the existing structures of the Greenovis Group.
Legal advice for this acquisition was provided by a team from ARQIS led by partner Thomas Chwalek. Greenovis thus once again relied on the expertise of the ARQIS team, which had already advised the group on previous transactions, including the merger with grün ER leben GmbH. The strategic acquisition underlines the Greenovis Group's continuous endeavour to consolidate its market position and expand its service offering nationwide.
