With the opening of Vestige Son Veri in the Tramuntana Mountains above Valldemossa, the Spanish Vestige Collection expands its portfolio with another restored property. The exclusively bookable estate combines historic building fabric with contemporary living comfort and offers views across the valley to Palma Bay.

Vestige Son Veri is located on an approximately 100-hectare site, which represents a cultural landscape shaped by centuries of agricultural use. Historical sources confirm that the land was cultivated as early as the Middle Ages. The estate is located about twenty minutes from Palma, framed by the limestone mountains of the Tramuntana. In contrast to the Miramar townhouse in Palma, which is situated directly on the water, Son Veri represents the rural side of Mallorca.

Careful Restoration and Furnishings

The restoration of the traditional 19th-century Mallorcan stone house was carried out under the direction of the in-house architecture and design studio, Vestige Estudio. The aim was to preserve the original proportions and character of the building while integrating modern amenities. Historic elements such as the traditional olive press (Tafona), vaulted ceilings made of Marés stone, the central courtyard, and the entrance hall were preserved and restored. New interventions were deliberately understated and executed using natural materials and handcrafted details. Local stonemasons, carpenters, and artisans were employed for the work.

The interior of Son Veri features six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, including two master suites. Generous communal areas include a dining room, light-filled lounges, a cinema, a fitness room, a wine cellar, and a professional kitchen. The property caters to families, groups of friends, or private events.

The outdoor areas integrate terraces, gardens, and courtyards into the landscape. A pool with panoramic views, a tennis court, and an outdoor kitchen are surrounded by local plants and natural stone paths. Restored waterways crisscross the grounds. The planting is tailored to the local flora, with citrus trees, olives, and Mediterranean grasses. Sustainability played a role in the project's development; rainwater is collected for irrigation, natural stones were reused, and historically compatible lime mortar was employed. Exclusive use of the estate starts at 5,600 EUR per night.
