PIMCO Prime Real Estate has achieved a significant leasing success at the mainBuilding Campus in Frankfurt. The internationally active law firm Jones Day has signed a long-term lease for the entire Atrium building, as well as an associated ancillary building on the campus. This agreement follows the comprehensive refurbishment of the property and demonstrates PIMCO Prime Real Estate's successful revitalisation strategy.
The Atrium building, located at Taunusanlage 14 and 15 in Frankfurt's banking district, was specifically refurbished to create modern, flexible, and competitive office spaces suitable for single-tenant or multi-party use. The property holds a DGNB Gold certification and incorporates energy optimisation measures through PIMCO Prime's proprietary Smart Building package. Architecturally, the Atrium building defines the complex with a characteristic glass roof, which floods the interior spaces with daylight.
Location and Facilities of the mainBuilding Campus
The mainBuilding Campus on Taunusanlage offers a central location with direct access to the public transport network and is situated in one of the city's established business districts. The architectural design of the entire complex, arranged in a comb-like fashion, allows for a quiet and sheltered inner courtyard. This serves as a retreat amidst the urban environment and is highly popular not only with tenants but also with external visitors. The high visibility of the inner courtyard extends to social media.
- —Direct access to public transport

Strategic Alignment and Prospects
Johannes Boventer, Head of Germany & Austria at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, commented on the lease agreement. He emphasised that Jones Day's confidence confirms the effectiveness of their revitalisation strategies. By transforming the Atrium building into a contemporary workspace, an environment has been created that combines functionality, sustainability, and architectural identity. Boventer underscored that the strong tenant interest highlights the quality of the spaces developed and is an acknowledgment of the team's ability to create spaces that endure in competitive markets and generate lasting value.
The remaining available spaces in the mainBuilding Campus represent an option for companies seeking central and high-quality office space in Frankfurt. This leasing success reinforces mainBuilding's position as an attractive location in the Frankfurt real estate market.
