Allgemeine SÜDBODEN is setting the course for the catering development of its commercial site on Balanstraße. At Campus Neue Balan in Munich, catering company Sweetvibes GmbH, operating under its Y.OUR Event & Catering brand, will run the planned staff restaurant. The opening of the new facility is scheduled for January 2027.
For the project, which will operate under the name 'Lilly’s', more than 900 square metres of lettable area are being created in Building 10 at the boundary of the quarter adjoining the Haidhausen district. The concept provides indoor seating for around 190 guests, complemented by two outdoor terraces. When awarding the contract, Allgemeine SÜDBODEN deliberately chose an independent hospitality business over traditional canteen operators.
Differentiated catering concept for daily life in the quarter
Thomas D. Sterk, authorised signatory at Allgemeine SÜDBODEN, cited the standard of quality and breadth of the future offering as the rationale behind selecting the operator. According to an internal survey, employees of resident companies had explicitly requested a canteen solution. This requirement is now to be met through a flexible, all-day offering.

Eric König, Managing Director of Sweetvibes, emphasised the intention to establish 'Lilly’s' as a central meeting place on the campus. The kitchen is intended to align with the daily needs of users across the quarter and provide freshly prepared meals. Beyond the restaurant, the remit also includes catering services for conferences and business events held by resident tenants.
Addition to established infrastructure
The new staff restaurant will complement the existing local amenities and dining infrastructure across the site. Outlets such as the BalanDeli restaurant, the chicco di caffè coffee bar and a supermarket are already located on the premises. Operating company Sweetvibes already has experience with Munich commercial sites, running venues including Y.Pavillon at Campus Infanteriestraße in the Schwabing-West district.
