STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH is expanding its portfolio in the Treptow-Köpenick district. A new construction project is being developed at Semmelweisstraße 97 in Berlin-Altglienicke, which will comprise a total of 74 residential units. A significant proportion of 67 of these flats are publicly subsidised, addressing the provision of affordable housing in the Berlin metropolitan region. The project thus contributes to relieving the housing market, particularly for households with a housing entitlement certificate.
The project development is being managed by Nova Gruppe GmbH. Goldbeck Nordost GmbH has been commissioned for the structural implementation using serial construction methods. Upon final completion, the property will be transferred to STADT UND LAND's portfolio. The property has a total rental area of approximately 4,145 square metres and offers a range of floor plans, from 1- to 5-room flats. This offering is designed to cater for various user groups, including students, smaller households, and families.
Development and Timeline
Construction for the project began on 18 September 2026. Work is currently focused on installing the main pipelines and preparing the foundation slab. The fixed timeframe for completion and subsequent handover to STADT UND LAND is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2028. The strategic location of the site in Altglienicke is noteworthy, as it is in the immediate vicinity of the Adlershof Science and Technology Park, one of Berlin's central growth centres.
The high proportion of subsidised flats enables different income groups to access modern housing. This underscores STADT UND LAND's public mandate to create housing options that meet needs and are socially acceptable. The selection of flat sizes addresses various life stages and models of future tenants.
