The City of Munich is realigning its long-term urban planning orientation. With the current Urban Development Plan (STEP), a strategic guiding concept has been drawn up setting out the essential framework for the city's future spatial development. The concept is divided into seven central action areas whose defined objectives aim for sustainable development across Munich.
Specialist lecture and interactive insights in Blumenstraße
To convey the guidelines and core thematic priorities of the urban development plan in a transparent manner, the city is hosting an information event. This will take place on Tuesday, 27 October, from 18:00 at PlanTreff, Blumenstraße 31. On site, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the objectives of the STEP during an informative presentation and gain a sound understanding of their significance for the urban fabric.
In addition to the lecture programme, the urban planning concept will be visualised using digital tools and interactive maps. These instruments enable visitors to directly trace the spatial interconnections of the seven action areas and gain deeper insights into the city administration's planning approaches.
Participation options on site and online
Admission to the in-person event at PlanTreff is free of charge. As the number of places on site is limited, advance registration is required to attend.
