Newmark Group, a commercial real estate advisory and services firm, has announced the incorporation of einwert GmbH, a German specialist in real estate valuation and technology, into its Valuation & Advisory division. This strategic move aims to streamline and enhance real estate valuation operations, value analysis, and portfolio monitoring for institutional real estate owners and managers. Founded in 2022, einwert GmbH has quickly built up a nationwide team of almost 30 professionals and developed a proprietary platform for real estate value management. The company is primarily active in the real estate fund sector and serves clients with real estate portfolios across Germany.
John Busi, President of Newmark Valuation & Advisory, commented on the acquisition. He emphasised that Newmark continues to invest in specialised expertise that strengthens its advisory offerings and meets the evolving demands of institutional real estate clients worldwide. The founders of einwert, Dr. Christina Mauer and Dr. Maximilian Schlachter, built the company from the perspective of institutional clients and portfolio managers. This has resulted in a firm that combines top-tier advisory expertise with technology and data analytics, reflecting the industry's development.
The integration of einwert into Newmark is part of a series of strategic additions to the rapidly expanding global Valuation & Advisory division. These include Catella Valuation Advisory in France and the recently acquired Canadian valuation business of Altus Group. These investments serve to expand Newmark's international valuation offerings, deepen local market expertise, and strengthen technology and analytical capabilities for global institutional clients. The goal is also to increase the share of revenue from recurring business segments and to expand the company's global presence.
The valuation specialists of einwert GmbH will transition to Newmark's Valuation & Advisory division. einwert's proprietary platform for real estate value management will continue to serve the institutional real estate fund industry in Germany. This platform offers institutional clients a solution for valuation management and portfolio analysis, facilitating collaboration with appraisers, streamlining processes, and increasing efficiency.
Marcus Lütgering, Head of Germany at Newmark, explained that the German real estate fund market places specific demands on the transparency and independence of valuations. He highlighted that einwert has developed the expertise and platform that this market requires, and that Newmark is proud to expand its presence in Germany together.
Dr. Christina Mauer, Managing Director and Co-founder of einwert, emphasised that einwert's original goal was to create a more transparent and efficient approach to real estate valuation by combining industry expertise with modern technology. She explained that einwert was developed based on their own experiences with the practical challenges faced by professionals in real estate valuation and fund management. The partnership with Newmark is ideal for accelerating this vision, while maintaining its entrepreneurial culture, client focus, and identity as an independent platform.
