uxury real estate brokers Oren Alexander, Tal Alexander, and their brother Alon were charged with sex trafficking in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday. Authorities claim the brothers worked together to drug, sexually assault, and rape dozens of victims since 2010.
The indictment alleges that the brothers operated a long-running sex trafficking scheme, often drugging women before raping or sexually assaulting them. They would lure women to various locations, where they were assaulted by multiple men. The charges also include fraud and coercion.
Over 30 women have come forward with similar claims of sexual assault against the Alexander brothers, including a 2012 incident at Sir Ivan's Castle in Water Mill, Long Island. The multimillionaire brothers have denied any wrongdoing.
The trio initially worked for Douglas Elliman before starting their own real estate business. Oren Alexander set a record for the most expensive home sale in the country with a final price of $239,958,219.15.
Oren and Alon Alexander are implicated in multiple sexual assaults, including incidents in 2016, 2017, and 2021. Tal Alexander is the oldest brother who made a name for himself in big-money real estate and runs the Alexander Team with Oren.
The indictment alleges that from 2010 to at least 2021, the brothers used their wealth to create opportunities to rape and sexually assault women, often using trips and luxuries as bait. They are accused of recruiting, enticing, harboring, transporting, and maintaining multiple women for sex trafficking purposes.
