ecember 12, 2024, 06:55 AM IST Three brothers from the wealthy Alexander family have been arrested in Miami on charges of sex trafficking, rape, and drugs abuse. The accused are Oren and Alon Alexander, twins aged 37, and their elder brother Tal, 38. According to a New York indictment, the brothers used their wealth and influence to exploit women between 2010 and 2021, luring them with promises of romantic relationships or parties. They allegedly used deception, fraud, and coercion to entice victims into traveling and attending events.
The Alexander brothers are well-known in the real estate world, having brokered deals for A-list celebrities and ultra-rich individuals in New York City and Miami. Oren and Tal worked together at Douglas Elliman before starting their own company, 'Official', in 2022. They have closed several high-profile deals, including a $47 million sale in Miami-Dade county and the sale of a $238 million penthouse to billionaire Ken Griffin in 2019.
The brothers' clients include Tommy Hilfiger, Steve Madden, and Sander Jacobs. Oren Alexander was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 real estate list in 2012. Alon, on the other hand, pursued law school and joined the family's private security business, Kent Security. This is not the first time the brothers have faced allegations of sexual misconduct; multiple women accused them of assault or rape earlier this year.
