Anywhere Real Estate partners with Vectara to revamp title processing

Anywhere leaders cite AI infrastructure consolidation for better control, security and cost predictability.

A
nywhere Integrated Services (AIS), a division of Anywhere Real Estate, has partnered with Vectara to optimize its title creation process and centralize document retrieval. AIS supports major brands like Century 21, ERA Real Estate, and Sotheby's International Realty.

The move aims to address inefficiencies in title searches and reduce reliance on multiple AI tools. This issue is exacerbated by "RAG sprawl," a term describing the uncontrolled growth of disconnected AI systems that can lead to increased costs, inconsistent performance, and oversight challenges.

AIS leadership chose Vectara's platform for its ability to provide better control, data security, and cost predictability. The company plans to integrate Vectara's AI tools to enable agents to search historical title records using natural language queries, automatically routing files into the title processing system.

The partnership will also allow AIS to build AI-powered assistants that automate routine tasks, offer recommendations, and support decision-making within the title workflow. Vectara's platform is designed to learn from user behavior and historical data, improving search accuracy over time.

"We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to transform the real estate experience," said Jeff Hummel, senior vice president of engineering at Anywhere Real Estate. "Vectara's Enterprise RAG platform delivers a unified, governed, and secure AI foundation that protects us from RAG sprawl."

Amr Awadallah, CEO and co-founder of Vectara, added: "Our platform is built to unlock the full potential of enterprise data while ensuring governance, reducing hallucinations, and controlling costs. We look forward to empowering Anywhere with the next generation of intelligent, efficient real estate workflows."
