pollo has appointed Bert Crouch, formerly of Invesco, to head its real‑estate equity arm. Crouch spent 16 years at Invesco, including five as head of North America for Inveco Real Estate, and will join Apollo as partner and chief of real‑estate equity in January. He said the move offers a chance to steer a large, vertically integrated platform that can invest across market cycles and serve both institutional and wealth‑management clients. “We see clear opportunities in housing, industrial, net‑lease and other key sectors where Apollo has strong conviction,” he added.
Crouch will oversee Bridge Investment Group, acquired by Apollo in January. Bridge’s executive chairman, Robert Morse, will become vice chairman at Apollo to focus on originations, while Bridge CEO Jonathan Slager will remain in his role working with Crouch. Crouch also led Invesco Commercial Real Estate Finance Trust (INCREF), a 2023‑launched REIT that closed its first commercial‑real‑estate collateralized loan obligation in January.
Apollo’s partner David Sambur praised Crouch’s industry expertise and growth record, noting the firm’s commitment to building a top‑tier real‑estate equity business with strong equity and credit capabilities. For more, contact Andrew Coen at [email protected].
