inegold Alexander Architects has completed the Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School's new Academic Building in Marlborough, MA. The firm was selected to design a state-of-the-art building with expanded learning opportunities and cutting-edge technology.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on January 23, featuring remarks from Dr. Lisa C. Mobley, Executive Director, Mike Nawrocki, Principal, and Maura Navin Webster, Board of Trustees Chair. The event was attended by local officials, including Massachusetts State Representative Meghan Kilcoyne and Marlborough Mayor Christian Dumais.
The new Academic Building is part of a larger campus expansion that includes the redesign of site circulation to improve student pick-up and drop-off systems. Finegold Alexander worked closely with AMSA to align the school's facilities with its rigorous college-oriented educational program.
"We're thrilled to see the completion of this project," said Regan Shields Ives, Principal and K-12 studio leader at Finegold Alexander. "Our goal was to support the school's mission through innovative design."
