rizona realtor Andrew Draayer, founder of Andrew the Home Buyer, has launched a $150,000 holiday‑season fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For every home sold in the state through December 31, the company will donate $1,000 to the hospital, a pledge that drives Draayer to close as many deals as possible. “This is our second year of the charity, and it inspires me to keep doing it annually,” he said.
The campaign was inspired by Bridget, a 14‑year‑old who survived bone cancer after losing part of her leg at six. Treated at St. Jude, she now enjoys swimming, modeling and volleyball. Her mother, Jamie Korn, recalled how the hospital became a beacon of hope despite the distance: “We believed St. Jude could bring our daughter back, and she’s been cancer‑free for seven years.”
St. Jude, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, provides food, housing and medical care so families can focus on treatment. Since its founding over 50 years ago, the institution has raised the childhood cancer survival rate from 20 % to more than 80 %. The fundraiser reflects Draayer’s commitment to giving back to a good cause this holiday season.
