Thorsen brings over a decade of experience to the position, having joined Atlas in 2012 as an acquisitions specialist. He has since held various roles within the firm, including vice president of institutional acquisitions.
Thorsen's tenure at Atlas has included involvement in numerous real estate transactions, with a focus on single-family rentals and build-to-rent properties. His experience spans over $2 billion in SFR deals across diverse market conditions. In his new role, Thorsen will be responsible for joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and data strategy.

Atlas Real Estate manages over $3.5 billion in real estate assets and oversees more than 6,000 residential units across 17 markets. The company was founded in 2013 and continues to expand its portfolio of single-family rental and build-to-rent properties under Thorsen's guidance.
