Beverly Hills Estate Sells for Record-Breaking $33 Million

Sue Gross sells Beverly Hills home for $33M, setting new price-per-square-foot record.

S
ue Gross, the ex-wife of PIMCO co-founder Bill Gross, has sold her Beverly Hills estate for a record-breaking price per square foot. The 6,500-square-foot home at 984 North Alpine Drive sold for $33 million, translating to $5,024 per square foot, according to the MLS. This marks a new high in Beverly Hills and makes it the third priciest on-market deal of the year.

The property, which boasts a stone motor court, 12-foot ceilings, and separate parking for staff, was listed by Drew Fenton of Carolwood Estates for $35 million in September. Gross purchased the home in 2018 for $20 million after extensive renovations led by contractor Justin Krzyston of Stonehurst Group.

This sale follows another successful transaction on North Alpine Drive, where Gross sold a neighboring property for $23.3 million in 2022. The buyer was represented by Nick Sandler and Bennett Hirsch of The Agency, while Fenton secured the deal as listing agent.

Fenton's expertise has been instrumental in some of Beverly Hills' most significant trades this year, including the priciest on-market listing at 1006 North Roxbury Drive, which sold for $37.1 million in June.
