ew York - Two luxury real estate brokers and their brother are facing additional sex trafficking charges in a New York court. The superseding indictment, filed by federal prosecutors against Oren Alexander, Tal Alexander, and Alon Alexander, alleges they used their wealth and influence to rape and sexually abuse women from 2002 to 2021.
The brothers were already charged with these crimes, but the new indictment adds five more charges related to four alleged victims. One of the victims was a minor at the time of the alleged offenses. The men are being held without bail and have previously pleaded not guilty.
Their attorney, Richard Klugh, claims the new charges are "prosecutorial overreach" and that the government is pursuing the case with an "overzealous, unwarranted" approach. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office declined to comment further, stating it's an ongoing investigation and anyone with information can contact the FBI.
The brothers' real estate business operated in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles, where they allegedly used their influence to exploit women.
