Two luxury real estate agents, Tal Alexander, 38, and Oren Alexander, 37, along with their brother Alon Alexander, have been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting dozens of women, according to a federal indictment filed last week. The brothers were arrested in Miami Beach on December 11.

Prosecutors allege that the Alexander brothers worked together to repeatedly drug, assault, and rape victims in New York, Miami, and elsewhere. "This conduct was heinous," said U.S. Attorney Damian Williams at a Manhattan news conference announcing the charges.

The indictment states that the brothers arranged for sexual assaults in advance, using luxury experiences as bait to lure women to locations where they were then assaulted or raped by multiple men, including themselves. At times, the brothers physically restrained and held down their victims during the rapes and ignored screams and requests to stop.

Prosecutors claim that the Alexander brothers conspired in the sex trafficking scheme since at least 2010, but their alleged crimes span more than 20 years, dating back to when they were in high school. As adults, their serial sexual violence escalated, with all three brothers moving to New York City and maintaining homes in Miami.

One victim reported being raped by Tal Alexander and another man in 2011 at the brothers' vacation house in the Hamptons. Another woman was raped by Oren Alexander after she began feeling strange and struggled to walk after he handed her a cocktail.

Prosecutors said that just weeks after the Alexander brothers sex trafficked and raped one victim, they arranged to transport women to Tulum, Mexico, where they discussed "imports" of women and splitting the cost of lodging and flights. One of the drugs mentioned was GHB, a date rape drug.

The Alexander brothers co-founded the real estate firm Official in 2022 after rising through the ranks at Douglas Elliman. They secured significant brokered deals, including a nearly $240 million sale of a penthouse in 2019. All three brothers live in high-value properties in Miami Beach and New York.

Tal and Oren took steps to conceal their crimes and protect their reputations in the real estate industry, prosecutors said. The Alexander brothers were charged with one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and separate counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion.
