ondo sales and prices took a hit in Broward County last week. Brokers closed 70 condo deals worth $20.6 million from October 8th to 15th, down from the previous week's 142 sales totaling $55.1 million. The average sale price dropped to $294,649, lower than the $388,150 average from the previous week. According to Redfin data, the average price per square foot fell to $253 from $305.
Two condos tied for the top spot with a price of $1.2 million each. Unit 1102 at Tiffany House Residences in Fort Lauderdale sold after 61 days on the market for $933 per square foot. The listing agents were Dayana Susterman and Joshua Dotoli with Compass Florida, while Deborah Haines with Trophy Properties South Florida represented the buyer.
Unit 303 at La Cascade in Fort Lauderdale also closed for $1.2 million after 39 days on the market at $507 per square foot. Lawrence and Joy Mastropieri of the Mastropieri Group had the listing, while Robin Johannan with Fortune Christie’s International Real Estate represented the buyer.
