ANAMA CITY, Fla. – NewsChannel 7 received a press release from By The Sea Resorts on Monday announcing a $3.3 million offer for the former Gulf World Marine Park. The hospitality group plans to transform the site into a new asset for Panama City Beach. “This is a once‑in‑a‑generation real estate opportunity in the heart of Panama City Beach,” said Jack Easdale, Chief Commercial Officer of By The Sea Resorts. He added that the company focuses on projects that strengthen the local tourism economy and complement its portfolio of 12 hotels and multiple restaurants. Easdale noted the property could become a catalyst for the beach’s future. By The Sea Resorts clarified it has no plans to revive marine operations on the site; instead, it sees redevelopment as part of a broader vision to boost tourism and the economy in the area. The company manages a diverse range of hotels and restaurants across Panama City Beach.
