he Irvine Company Office Properties (ICOP), a Southern California commercial real‑estate firm, partnered with Red Dot Digital Media to launch an immersive digital showcase for its Alton HQ campus. The new installation greets visitors with a customized welcome screen and then lets ICOP leasing agents lead them through a rich library of still images, videos, and augmented‑reality scenes that spotlight the building’s layout, amenities, and surrounding neighborhood.
Red Dot built a bespoke, touch‑interactive video wall that delivers a seamless, scalable experience. The core hardware stack includes BrightSign XC4055 media players, Samsung VM55B‑U displays, a Peerless AV modular pedestal in 4×3, Yamaha Pro 70V/8‑ohm speakers, 6.5‑inch surface‑mount drivers, a Yamaha Pro power amplifier, an Apple iPad 11‑inch A16, and an iPort CONNECT PRO case and base. The architecture is designed for future expansion, allowing new content types or layout changes without major rewiring.
The user interface is intentionally simple: ICOP staff can update images, add localized amenities, or swap build‑out options on the fly, all without technical training. The system supports multiple media formats—video, image galleries, interactive maps, animated sliders—while maintaining a cohesive visual style. A tablet‑style controller mirrors the video wall in real time, thanks to tightly integrated media‑player synchronization that pushes updates instantly.
Key functions of the custom software include:
