Candice Miller Sells Hamptons Estate Where Husband's Life Ended Tragically

The Hamptons home of debt-ridden real estate heir Brandon Miller is being sold at auction, with contents up for bid.

A
Hamptons estate where a social media influencer's husband took his own life in June has sold for $12.8 million after multiple bids. The property, which was listed for $15.49 million, features seven bedrooms, five fireplaces, and sits on 1.12 acres.

Brandon Miller, the husband of Candice Miller, founder of the Mama & Tata lifestyle blog, poisoned himself in the garage while his family was away. He left behind a suicide note and a staggering debt of $33.6 million, which his widow will now have to manage.

The home's sale price may have been lower due to the bank's desire to exit the deal quickly. A broker noted that "the energy" surrounding the property wasn't appealing to everyone, given its connection to Miller's tragic death.

The new owner purchased the fully furnished estate and is hosting an online auction of its contents on January 7. Items range from a $1 bread pan to a $2,800 white linen sofa, as well as a collection of mounted animal heads. The auction will end at 7 p.m. with buyers paying an 18% premium.

The property's interior features an airy feel with massive windows, natural light, and exposed wood beams. It also includes an eat-in kitchen and a movie theater. Despite its luxurious appearance, the home was shrouded in debt, with Miller having only $8,000 in the bank at the time of his death.
