ara Delevingne has sold her Los Angeles mansion for $4.6 million, six months after it was ravaged by a massive fire that destroyed nearly every room. The Studio City property, which Delevingne purchased for $7 million in 2019, was sold through an LLC on September 17. Images taken just days before the sale showed the four-bedroom, six-bathroom home still in disarray.
The original listing described the mansion as a unique and private retreat surrounded by lush trees, offering complete seclusion from prying eyes. Delevingne had transformed the property into an "adult playhouse" with quirky features like an adult ball pit, a vagina tunnel hallway, and Gucci wallpaper, inspired by the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
In 2021, Delevingne gave Architectural Digest a tour of her home, describing it as a space where she could maintain a childlike innocence and joy. However, disaster struck in March 2024 when a fire ripped through the property, leaving it as a burnt-out shell. The cause of the fire remained a mystery for months, with local firefighters unable to determine what sparked the blaze due to the severe damage.
Delevingne's parents claimed that electrical issues caused the fire, while sources told TMZ that the blaze began in a back room and spread to the attic, causing the roof to collapse. The property housed original artwork, including a piece by James Turrell, which was destroyed in the fire.
Photos published in the New York Post show the destroyed property without a roof, with debris scattered across the remainder of the home. Delevingne is understood to be spending more time in her New York City abode, which she purchased from Jimmy Fallon. The new owner will have significant work to do before the home becomes livable again.
