Cardone's Hybrid Approach: Combining Real Estate and Bitcoin Investments

Grant Cardone: Your grandma may grasp apartment value, but not Bitcoin.

rant Cardone is combining Bitcoin and real estate in several funds, using physical properties as "anchor" assets. Tenants' payments are directed toward strategic Bitcoin purchases, which could boost long-term returns. Cardone's company, Cardone Capital, has $5 billion in assets under management.

Cardone believes that investors who don't fully understand Bitcoin can still grasp the value of real estate. He aims to attract those with little or no Bitcoin exposure through his new line of funds. The 10X Miami River Bitcoin Fund is a prime example, featuring a 346-unit property as its anchor asset and setting aside monthly income for strategic Bitcoin purchases.

Cardone's fund combines two distinct investment classes: the stable, liquid real estate market and the volatile, nascent world of Bitcoin. He plans to explore mortgage products that blend these assets, which he believes could revolutionize the industry. Cardone Capital is already interested in developing such products.

While established players like Blackstone and Camden may be hesitant to follow suit due to regulatory hurdles, Cardone is confident that they will eventually join him in mixing Bitcoin with real estate. He estimates having a three- or four-year head start on this innovative approach.
