arrison Beacher, AHWD, C2EX, and Gary Rogers, ABR, CRS, are two accomplished real estate professionals who excel in their markets and the industry at large. Beacher is managing partner of Coalition Properties Group of Keller Williams Properties in Washington, D.C., a former Division 1 college football player, and has received recognition from REALTOR Magazine's 30 Under 30 and NAR as a Fair Housing Champion. Rogers is broker-owner of RE/MAX On the Charles in Waltham, Mass., and has won distinguished service awards from the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS and the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS.
This year, Beacher chairs the National Association of REALTORS Meeting and Conference Committee, overseeing NAR NXT: The REALTOR Experience, while Rogers serves as 2024 Member Services Liaison. As a conduit between the Leadership Team and six NAR committees, including Beacher's, Rogers facilitates communication and collaboration.
Beacher got involved in NAR through the Greater Capital Association of REALTORS Young Professionals Network committee in 2013. He aims to make events engaging and worth attendees' time as chair of the Meeting & Conference Committee. Rogers entered real estate in 1988 but didn't become aware of the value of being a REALTOR until 1993, when he began volunteering.
At NAR NXT, Beacher is excited to reconnect with peers from diverse markets, meet new friends, and learn about industry changes on the ground. He believes that expanding one's network can lead to positive outcomes. Rogers emphasizes the conference's value in providing access to 100 sessions and custom learning tracks, as well as opportunities to learn from national speakers and peers.
Beacher will focus on three market factors: increasing listing business, buyer compensation options, and recruiting and retaining agents. Rogers will explore how to practice buyer representation, show real value in their work, and create differentiation in their marketplaces through branding.
To make the most of NAR NXT, Beacher advises attendees to update their profiles in the app, leverage scheduling tools, visit the Expo floor and AXIS for networking, and plan action based on what they learn. Rogers recommends identifying sessions that strengthen skills, being open to new experiences, taking breaks, and participating in the REALTORS Relief Run 5k.
