arol Bulman, CEO and Chairman of Jack Conway, one of New England's largest independent real estate firms, was honored as the 2025 Education and Community Champion at Massasoit Community College's fourth-annual Evening of Champions President's Reception on May 15. The event celebrated Bulman's dedication to the community, leadership at Jack Conway, and her long-standing partnership with Massasoit.
Over 130 community leaders, partners, sponsors, and alumni gathered at the Brockton campus to recognize Bulman's contributions. She expressed gratitude for the award, stating that Massasoit is "a lifeline for so many" where potential is nurtured and dreams are made possible.
The Evening of Champions highlighted the achievements of alumni and current students while raising awareness about Massasoit's academic programs and student services. Champion Sponsors included Coastal Heritage Bank, Corient, Jack Conway, and Eastern Bank.
Massasoit President Bill Mitchell emphasized the College's role in supporting students through various challenges, including food and housing insecurity. Notable speakers shared their stories of resilience and success at Massasoit, including John Murphy, a successful soccer coach, Heléna Beeloo, a recent graduate pursuing her Ph.D., and Luc Louis, a current student who survived the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
Bulman's award recognized not only her professional accomplishments but also her impact on the Greater Boston community. A longstanding advocate for volunteerism and community development, she has worked closely with Massasoit to further its mission of providing quality education and support to students from all walks of life.
The event was emceed by Simone Santiago, vice president of Massasoit's Foundation Board of Directors, and featured a special video presentation showcasing the College's dedicated faculty and staff. Previous honorees have included influential community leaders and organizations that have improved the lives of students and fostered stronger communities.
