In a groundbreaking partnership, Castlelake, a global alternative investment manager, and Niam Credit, a leading commercial real estate debt manager in the Nordics, are set to transform the way borrowers access financing in the region. The strategic alliance aims to provide flexible and tailored solutions for acquisitions and refinancings across all asset classes, addressing the growing demand for non-traditional lending options.
The partnership's first major milestone is the successful closing of a NOK 1.9 billion transaction, where Castlelake and Niam Credit provided senior secured financing for a portfolio of over 30 prime properties in central Oslo. This deal marks a significant step towards achieving their target deployment of EUR 1 billion across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
