BRE's Boston office has announced the sale of Hill Estates, a 396-unit apartment community in Belmont, Massachusetts. The property, located between Belmont Center and North Cambridge's Fresh Pond/Alewife neighborhood, was sold to The Hamilton Company.

Represented by CBRE's Simon Butler, Biria St. John, John McLaughlin, and Brian Bowler, the sale marks the first time Hill Estates has been on the market since its construction in the 1960s. Built by the DiGiovanni Brothers, the property features a mix of townhomes and midrise buildings with unique amenities such as individual forced air heating and cooling systems.

The community includes 92 oversized townhomes with basements and 304 spacious flats, as well as commercial space at 55 Brighton Street and an office building at 4 Hill Road. Two additional commercial office buildings are located nearby, totaling approximately 16,000 gross square feet.

"We're pleased to have represented the DiGiovanni family in the sale of Hill Estates," said CBRE's Biria St. John. "We expect The Hamilton Company to be great stewards of this asset and make substantial investments to modernize and amenitize the community."
