E
ast West Partners, a residential and commercial real estate development group based in Charleston, has promoted two internal candidates to key leadership roles. Katie Blum has been named managing partner, while Harriette Calder has taken on the role of senior vice president of development.

According to CEO Chris Frampton, these promotions mark a new era for East West Partners and solidify its position as a leading real estate developer in the Charleston market. "We're confident that our Charleston office will continue to thrive under this new leadership," Frampton said.

Blum's experience in strategizing acquisitions and overseeing major projects has prepared her well for her new role, which includes managing East West Partners' flagship office in Charleston, overseeing existing developments, and leading new acquisitions. Blum graduated from Duke University with a degree in public policy and earned an MBA from the University of Denver.

"I'm honored to lead the Charleston office and champion our innovative projects," Blum said. "With significant milestones on the horizon, I'm eager to uphold our commitment to creating terrific places that enrich lives."

Calder brings her expertise in development, sales, and construction to her new role, where she will oversee all development on Daniel Island, including The Waterfront Daniel Island and forthcoming phases for the community. East West Partners is poised to continue leading the market for luxury real estate development in 2025 under Blum's direction, with several high-profile projects planned for the year, including the launch of Phase III at Courier Square and the delivery of Fenland, a collection of build-to-rent townhomes on Daniel Island.
