Charming Paws Expands to New Location in Grafton, Wisconsin

A
shley Lyneis, owner of Charming Paws, has acquired a new 6,000-square-foot building in Grafton, WI, located just down the street from their current facility. The new site will primarily focus on doggy daycare due to its expansive outdoor area, ideal for play and exercise. In contrast, the current location will be used for boarding.

Lyneis plans to operate both locations during peak times, like Spring Break, to meet growing demand. She's considering building an addition to the new location if the existing tenant decides not to renew their lease. The decision to move was partly driven by the knowledge that their current site was likely to be redeveloped and the new building offers a significant upgrade compared to their existing smaller yard.

Charming Paws has experienced impressive growth over the past few years, with locations in West Bend, Grafton, Richfield, and Cedarburg. Lyneis attributes her success not just to business growth but also to building strong relationships within the communities she serves. She emphasizes that the expansion is about helping those communities rather than increasing profits.

The new Grafton location is expected to be operational by Spring 2025. Lyneis credits her loyal staff, many of whom have been with her since the beginning, as key to the company's success. With the new location set to open, Lyneis and her team are excited to continue their mission of providing excellent pet care and strengthening community ties.

A conditional use permit has been requested for Charming Paws at 2089 Wisconsin Avenue in Grafton. The request is for a dog daycare, grooming, and boarding facility.
