ason Chesky has had a distinguished career in real estate and finance, currently serving as vice president and chief financial officer of Logenix International. He oversees the company's international business and has played a key role in its overseas success.

    With over a decade of experience in the industry, Mr. Chesky was initially drawn to real estate due to its complexity. He pursued higher education, earning an Associate of Science in business administration from Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) before joining Long & Foster Real Estate as a senior accountant from 2005 to 2013.

    Following the 2008 Financial Crisis, Mr. Chesky sought new challenges and continued his academic journey, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in finance from George Mason University in Fairfax in 2013. He then joined Logenix International in Virginia.

    Mr. Chesky credits Ron Cruse, president and CEO of Logenix International, for mentoring him and imparting valuable knowledge. He emphasizes the importance of leadership and employee development, encouraging his team to grow individually and professionally.

    As a leader, Mr. Chesky advises the next generation to adopt the "work smart, not hard" approach, valuing time and motivation. His efforts have been recognized with awards, including placement in the Top 100 People of Finance in 2019 and the Virginia Business CFO Award in 2023. Logenix was also named one of Virginia's Best Places to Work in 2024.

    Mr. Chesky attributes his success to understanding how to leverage his extensive network effectively, relying on experts to inform his decisions. He is not afraid to get involved in granular activities to gain a deeper understanding of the company's operations.

    In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Chesky has established an endowment with his alma mater to support students facing financial burdens. His goal is to help future generations succeed without being weighed down by debt, inspired by the collaborative spirit that emerged after the 2008 Financial Crisis.
