Christie's International Real Estate appoints SVP for strategic growth

He will lead network growth, forging new partnerships and collaborating with affiliates on organic expansion, M&A.

hristie’s International Real Estate has named G. Scott Hurlock senior vice president of strategic growth. In this role, Hurlock will drive expansion by forging alliances, nurturing affiliate growth, steering mergers acquisitions. President Gavin Swartzman praised Hurlock’s “impressive track record, deep industry ties, keen eye for top leadership high‑potential talent in the luxury market.” He added that Hurlock’s network strategic insight will be pivotal as Christie’s enters its next growth phase.

    Hurlock brings over two decades of sales marketing expertise from national global firms, including HomeSmart, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Realogy (now Anywhere). He most recently served as senior vice president of expansion at Engel & Völkers, where he helped broaden the brand through partnerships such as the 2023 merger of Dilbeck Real Estate with the firm’s largest U.S. broker‑owner, adding nine offices more than $1.3 billion in Southern California business.

    Speaking about the appointment, Hurlock said Christie’s “excellence in brokerage, marketing, technology, affiliate services is best in class, the strong ownership base signals a bright future.” He looks forward to building on brand’s legacy to create the world’s leading luxury‑real‑estate network.
