Christina Ricci Sells California Estate for $4.17M Amid LA Wildfires

Christina Ricci lists LA home after family member displaced by Palisades Fire.

C
hristina Ricci is putting her sleek Los Angeles home on the market for $4.17 million, a decision prompted by a family member's displacement in the January 7 Palisades Fire. The actress, who bought the three-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Silver Lake just last year, needs to accommodate her relative whose home was destroyed in the blaze.

Ricci is looking to upgrade to a larger space, and the current residence has become too small with her family member living there. "She's purchasing a new home to accommodate the family member that lost their home," says Lorraine Getz of Compass, who is overseeing the sale.

The nearly 3,400-square-foot modern home boasts a chef's kitchen, walls of glass that open onto views of downtown Los Angeles, and a center island that flows into the living area. The kitchen features high-end appliances, including a Sub-Zero fridge and Miele coffee machine.

The property also offers smart-home automation, expansive city views, and a rare combination of walkability and views. A hidden staircase leads to the Silver Lake Recreation Center and nearby eateries. Ricci added bespoke elements, including a custom wood credenza with pink marble and a cleverly disguised cat box.

Other features include a glass catwalk, gourmet kitchen, walls of glass for optimal city views, and a rooftop terrace with a pool and spa. The primary suite has its own fireplace, custom walk-in closet, and spa-inspired bath. Two additional ensuite bedrooms complete the second level.

The home offers seamless indoor-outdoor living, al fresco dining space, and stunning views from every angle. Ricci married hairstylist Mark Hampton in 2021 and has two children with him and her ex-husband James Heerdegen.
