ONA Services is relocating its headquarters from Midtown Atlanta to the trendy Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The IT services company has signed a deal to occupy 49,000 square feet of office space at Ponce City Market, a mixed-use development on Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast. Approximately 180 employees will be based on the sixth floor of the building, joining high-profile tenants like Pinterest and Airbus.
Ponce City Market is a historic building that was restored by Jamestown, an Atlanta-based private equity group, after it purchased the property in 2011. The development has undergone significant expansion since its reopening in 2014, adding office space, apartments with hotel amenities, stores, restaurants, and a rooftop amusement park.
CONA CEO Brett Findley describes Ponce City Market as "an iconic destination in Atlanta," which has played a key role in revitalizing the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Despite challenges facing Atlanta's office market, including high vacancy rates and a shift towards new construction, average asking rents are on the rise, reaching $30.09 per square foot midway through this year.
As a leading provider of IT services to the Coca Cola System, CONA Services is expanding its presence in the city. Jamestown, the developer behind Ponce City Market, has also worked on notable projects like Chelsea Market in New York City and Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco.
