Coney Island Welcomes Eco-Friendly Coffee Destination

New Developments Bring Middle-Class Residents to Coney Island's Oceanfront Neighborhood.

oney Island's retail scene is slowly gaining momentum with new additions. A notable arrival is LCOR's 1515 Surf Avenue, a residential project that brings middle-class residents to the oceanfront neighborhood.

    The 1515 Surf Ave development offers over 320 market-rate and 130 affordable rental apartments, along with 35,000 square feet of amenities. The ground-floor space at the corner of Surf and West 15th Street has been secured by Milk & Honey, a popular Brooklyn coffee shop chain known for its eggs, artisanal flatbreads, and all-day items.

    LCOR's project boasts being the city's largest 100% electric geothermal development. This innovative feature sets it apart from other residential projects in the area.

    Meanwhile, Authentic Brands Group has expanded its presence at 1411 Broadway by renewing a lease on 75,000 square feet and adding an additional 25,000 square feet to its existing space. The company manages over 50 fashion and lifestyle brands, including Reebok, Brooks Brothers, and Nautica.
