rowing up in the Soviet Union's Polyarnye Zori, a town north of the Arctic Circle, instilled in me a sense of resilience and determination. I never imagined that my drive to innovate would lead me to create crypto real estate transactions, but here I am, opening new frontiers in real estate and crypto. From the subzero climate of my youth to the vibrant entrepreneurial landscape of Silicon Valley, each step has reinforced my conviction that technology can open doors most people never knew existed.
I've come to see that even established systems like real estate can be transformed when we dare to question what's possible. Outdated processes and rigid norms often block innovators from making their mark, but I believe there's a way around every barrier. My own life story stands as proof of this.
As a girl, I never dreamed of becoming a tech entrepreneur in my Soviet world. But the wild geography of my hometown shaped me, teaching me to find fun and companionship in any environment and make the most of available resources. This lesson has stayed with me ever since.
After leaving for Moscow at 18, I attended college but faced corruption that stymied me. Instead, I enrolled in a forward-thinking university where I learned coding and switched my major to software engineering. When I was 19, love took me to Bulgaria, where I continued my studies remotely and built the first social media platform for Europe.
In the early 2000s, I saw an opportunity in real estate as Bulgaria prepared to join the European Union. I acquired land, developed properties, and built a thriving business that attracted high-profile investors. But I craved a bigger challenge, which led me to Oxford University's program in sustainable urban development.
It was here that a new idea began to crystallize: what if buying real estate anywhere in the world could be as simple as a few clicks? I moved to Silicon Valley and discovered blockchain technology, which inspired me to revolutionize property transactions. Despite challenges from venture capitalists and industry resistance, I remained committed to my vision of simplifying and democratizing property transactions on a global scale.
Today, I'm based in Miami, more committed than ever to streamlining real estate transactions and removing intermediaries. My dream is to enable seizure-resistant property ownership worldwide, ensuring no government can compromise people's rights. For now, I'll be happy if we simply revolutionize how homes are bought and sold in America.
My message to the next generation of dreamers is simple: don't wait for permission to pursue your vision. Trust your instincts and keep moving forward. You never know where the journey will take you – it could even lead to innovating in the U.S. real estate industry, from Florida to Hawaii.
