etween September 27 and October 10, Cortland County logged only two residential sales, averaging $215,000 and $119 per square foot. The most expensive transaction was a 1,636‑sq‑ft single‑family home on 3671 Delaware Ave., Cortlandville, sold for $305,000 ($186 per sq‑ft) on September 8. The second sale involved a 1,952‑sq‑ft detached house at 53 Morningside Drive, Cortland, purchased for $125,000 ($64 per sq‑ft) on September 8. The 1978‑built Morningside property has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, while the Delaware Ave. home, built in 1956, offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms. These sales represent the most expensive residential transactions in the county during that period.
