atterport's Marketing Cloud Aims to Simplify Real Estate Content Creation
Technology is driving innovation in the real estate industry, with companies constantly developing new products and forging partnerships. Matterport, a spatial data company, has launched its latest offering: Matterport Marketing Cloud. This platform aims to simplify and accelerate real estate marketing by allowing agents to schedule 3D image captures and share photos and videos.
The platform includes an optional Digital Pro package, which provides a 3D virtual tour, high-res photos of the home, social media-optimized videos, AI-generated descriptions, and floor plans. Matterport claims that all deliverables can be completed in one or two business days. The platform also integrates augmented reality and AI tools, including a "defurnish" feature that allows agents to remove clutter from images.
Matterport Marketing Cloud enables agents to create high-quality marketing packages without technical expertise, eliminating hours of manual work. RJ Pittman, Matterport's chairman and CEO, said the platform is designed to help agents focus on winning new business.
Meanwhile, Maverix Advisory Group has appointed Kevin Van Eck as principal to strengthen its expertise in real estate technology and strategic growth. Van Eck previously served as president for affiliated strategies with @properties and Christie's International Real Estate, where he led technology initiatives and operational strategies. His appointment is expected to help clients scale and implement technology solutions.
